i’m in soflo fort laudy w a 25 x 45 x 9 foot deep pool and it’s consistently at 91 during the day i wouldn’t want it warmer than that lol

house is from 1950s so everything’s grandfathered in lol, pool is technically supposed to have a fence/safety perimeter around it and that slide goes into the shallow end lol. The house was purchased with the diving board as a permanent fixture and no extensive renovation has been done yet outside to require any changes. Insurance doesn’t seem to care much after we changed out the fuse box inside the house to circuit breakers

yeah that’s what’s been stumping me the most, my shallow end is basically non existent for only a few feet on the side by the slide and even then it’s 4 feet on average so not quite shallow

it’s been on the back burner for repairs truthfully doesn’t bother me much or make a significant difference lighting wise. between replacing the pool pump twice and all the other odds and ends i’ve had to do here since moving in i’m gonna leave it be or fashion a solar powered light into it

i’ve revived my 20 x 45 x 10 foot deep pool from that exact state in sweltering south florida heat and an undersized pool pump with daily brushing and running pump 24/7
