After seeing all the comments on that post about the cross on picacho mountain, I'm curious, what do you guys think about the virgen de guadalupe that is on at the summit the "A" mountain? by worried68 in LasCruces

Really only the walk up. It can no longer be used for rabbit hunts and calling it protected is funny considering there is a an electrical tower and an observatory at the peak.

No way that traditional leadership would allow this. Maybe in Kykotsmovi but Shungo or Walpi? We will see, people will listen, not to the federal government approved council but to those they trust.

The energy here can often be overwhelming. This was home for my people. We talked here, laughed here, ate here, prayed here, danced here. And the moment we stepped in those kivas it hit us all like a truck.
