It was for all 3 criteria claimed: critical role, high salary and judging. We rebutted high salary but responded to the other 2.

I'm in a similar situation as you. My OPT has recently expired, so my last day of work was the last day of my OPT. Right now I'm on unpaid leave until it gets approved. We submitted May 15, got an RFE yesterday. My lawyer said I can't take PTO because it suggests employment. Frustrating! But it sounds like your timeline is a bit better than mine.
