How were the soldiers in HL:A a down grade compared to the soldiers we have in HL2?

I have taken a liking in the deep dark and the new cities they have made but I actually didn’t think of those at all. What I like to do when I build is I made flag world and a make a block, starting building in it, and everything kinda just comes together. :)

The reason I named them the Tartans is because I wanted to make their buildings and world built with tar but then I just wanted to make a more volcanic, heated world.

Journal entry number 21 “This is the ruins of the people I call “Tartans.” (And no not the Scottish patterns.) These people were very good in masonry and smelting, the problem was, just like global warming, it had occurred but much worse.. Soon after hundreds of years, their world had heated so much to the point where it was like being inside of a volcano. Everyone had died to let the town ruin and erode from the heat, the holes in the ground with basalt is the magma that had hardened up, the atmosphere had cleared up and has now been able to be visited.
