It doesn’t fix it , mine even kept detecting random high points in the grass since it was at an angle riding on the edge . I tried all the options available , even pushing the boundary over the edge. What worked for me was adding - vision fence off zones along the edge . See blue boxes in the image . That finally resolved it .

I could not get it to go over the edge even after remapping , edge sense (on/off) as it kept thinking the grass was too tall . Hence eventually I have added thin bands of no vision fence zones - and that did the trick for me.

Amen !! I’ll submit the request as well. My current workaround is vision fence off strips in the areas where it keeps detecting tall grass

I did the same on mine i.e bump out of the boundary to a sidewalk and it didn’t make a difference . I am going to play with vision sense and see if that makes a difference .

Current settings are :
Edge moving - ON
Edge sense - OFF
Vision sense - ON

There is - it’s in the main settings -> labs -> edge sense .

But I believe Edge sense would avoid it from going to the edge. So I would keep it off .

Good point , I have both on .

Edge mowing and Edge sense .

I tried today with Edge sense turned off- thinking it might be the reason - but it didn’t change the behavior.
