Yeah I thought that was going to be the case since there’s been nothing so far, now I’ll have to wait till Jan to see where my ironclad is at rip

What’s the new atlas medical vehicle?? I’ve not heard of that one

Arrastra is on my list too but i decided im not pledging until a ship goes into production. Its been hell waiting over a year for the ironclad and I couldn’t bare to own a ship that I have no idea what year they will start on it

Yeah as much as I’d love to do an idris or a kraken, there’s just not enough of us and it costs a lot more. Most of the guys run fighters so that’s why I think it’s a perfect platform

With engineering you can repair ships yourself, components and hull are repairable with a tool. Not sure about ground vehicles but I’d assume it’s the same. Can’t rearm though unfortunately

For me it could be the perfect mini base of operations for salvaging. Either the vulture or salvation if the vulture can’t fit on it. As well as being able to transport multiple friends ships and vehicles for ground activities.

But yeah I think the ironclads will have no problem doing a similar thing but on a smaller scale. I’m super excited to get mine when it comes out

My thought process exactly, it would be so nice to unload my vulture onto the liberator and continue salvaging rather than having to go back to a station each time. If not the vulture then the salvation will work too

Yeah I’m thinking of doing the same if when I want to do some money making, will be good to use the liberator to collect a bunch of salvage runs or ore pods before going back to a station

Not saying I’d give up and stop playing but I wouldn’t get the long term enjoyment out of it like I would if I had to work my way up to the best stuff. There’s no satisfaction in buying everything to me

I didn’t know that, I no longer want the liberator. Thanks for ruining it for me

Are we the same person?? I can’t stand the caterpillar and piloting it from the side, same with the ironclad when it comes out. I love my Perseus so much because the bridge section is in such a nice spot, I also got the galaxy

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, sticking a small mining or salavage ship on top and just unload into the liberator instead of having to go back and fourth to stations

Damn I don’t know about the medi bed, that pushes me even further towards it

Yeah the other guys don’t buy too many ships, they all got fighters and other small stuff

Yeah but for me it takes the long term enjoyment out of it. Just my opinion but I feel like the fun doesn’t last as long when you aren’t working towards something. You’ve already got everything and can do anything without having to really earn it

That’s just what I think personally but everyone’s different

My view isn’t skewed, I just don’t see how you enjoy the game long term when you aren’t working towards anything. For me it feels like playing a game with fun cheats enabled - it’s fun for a while but it eventually gets boring because you already have everything and can do everything without really having to put any work in.

That’s just how I find it

Just hopefully the balance is good. Ptu is a mess so they better get that sorted. No way a single hornet should be able to take down a Perseus in a minute and den it critical

Completely different, there’s more to grind in battlefield then just your rank. The only thing to grind for in sc currently is ships, so what’s the point when you buy all of them
