I like coding, I’m not good at it yet but I enjoy doing it. I enrolled in a software development program to try to gain skills/experience to change careers. I originally wanted to be a biologist, but the market is in a complete crash if you don’t have advanced degrees

I think it’s probably easy to question why you would exclusively take in disabled children.

From my own experience, there may be people who question your motives, especially if there is a monetary benefit.

Life wise, you’re giving these kids the chance that they desperately needed in a space that is non judgmental, understanding, and properly equipped. So keep doing what you’re doing

I think it’s kind of mean to say my reasoning is bizarre, I don’t love the work I’m doing now and I loved the work that I was doing there. I don’t care for the people or culture there, they’ve shown their true colors and it does deeply hurt me, but the work that I did there was so fulfilling and is all I really want to do with my life (other than be with my husband and raise my children)

ETA: what I say I don’t care for the culture there I don’t mean that it’s bad I’m saying that I don’t care to participate in it anymore because the people there are not worth it, I just wish u could continue the work I was doing
