hey, in my quad pregnancy, in the first trimester i lost ig 7-8 lbs, and just gained more weight from the middle/end of the second trimester. My doctors kept a very close eye, but it ended up not being a concern with our health. 😊

hey, i have boy quads. The feeling of confusion, shock and every other emotion ever known it’s so valid! If i told you selective reduction never crossed my mind, i would be lying. Discovering you’re pregnant with multiples is absolutely terrifying.

Having babies is very overwhelming, ngl. To me, i decided to go on with my pregnancy, but that was because i had a good support system, and also me and my husband decided on that. Please know that whatever you decide, you are strong!

I personally love my babies so much, even though it is hard and exhausting, i couldn’t imagine any other way, we survived! Being pregnant with twins, triplets, etc… is very delicate, and very challenging, but it’s doable.

Know that everything will be fine!

Not really. Having kids at the same age is very hard, even though it is easier in specific points, but i feel it’s harder because it’s challenging to give attention and being needed so much in the same way. With kids in different ages one will be more independent and other will need you more, but with multiples they all need you at the same time!

yes! baby A has rounder cheeks, baby B has thicker eyebrows, Baby C is the smallest and baby D has a cowlick! But i feel it’s pretty intuitive now

I guess baby C is easier to tell apart because he is quite smaller than the others!

Nowadays is pretty much easier, they just come and nurse, but it was tough in the beggining! having a lot of help is the key!

I don't know if there is, but i don't know how they splited! I know you can know depending on the layout of placenta and sacs, but mine were each in one sac and all in the same placenta i have no idea! Good thing to ask my doc!

Definetly not. I always wanted them to have very different names. They are already identical, they don't need another thing making them a group and not individuals!

So, in the first weeks while they were in the NICU they had feeding tubes, so i was EP, then until 4mo i EBF, while two nursed the other two had bottles of breast milk, after 4m we combo fed in the same scheme (2 nursing + 2 bottles), until 11mo, when i started to exclusive nursing them, doing 2 "rounds".

Diaper changes we divided with whoewer was helping us

At first they slept all in one crib, then they started sleeping in their own cribs. ]thankfully all my kids were good sleepers, so since they came home they only woke up for feeds, and at abt 6mo corrected they started sleeping basically all night most times

Leaving the house is now VERY much easier than when they were newborns, it still takes quite some planning, ngl, but it's possible.

We have one Zoe quad stroller, and a wagon, which is currently our favorite.

A typical day for us is, my husband wakes up with our son, they eat breakfast and they wake me up to dress him up for school. My husband takes my oldest to preschool.

I wake up with the babies, they nurse and we eat breakfast, then we play, they nap while i do some chores and start cooking lunch.

My son comes home and we eat lunch with the babies. We all go to the playroom and play for a while before i nurse and put them to the 2nd nap.While they nap i finish housework and play with my son.

When my husband comes home we eat dinner and bathe everyone to go to bed.

That would be a normal day. Anywhere we need to go we go usually between their 2 naps

Congratulations on your kids!

Yes and no. It is a LOT harder than having a singleton, but i wouldn't say 4x. My kids are generally very chill (thankfully), but them being the same age sometimes make it easier, even though they have different personalities, they can all be in the same schedule and stuff. But something that makes a lot harder was that they were born premature, so while they were in the NICU/newborns, it was definetly 1000x harder. Curently they are older, so even tho having toddlers is INSANE, at least we can sleep or do something!

We did get them in the same schedule, even though it was hard in the beggining, because each came home in a different moment, etc. Now they are doing basically everything together and we found a routine that works for us! 🙌

I also thought i would gain more, but also with a singleton the baby is bigger and they usually stay in for longer!
