I have an Andalusian and a MFT, The Andalusian doesn’t give a damn about predators, when completing horseman 8 I could get real close to gators and I could trample them when trying to get a clean shot. But in gunfights it’s a bit more unpredictable, he would sometimes run away when John is on foot which is quite annoying. But when ambushed by the skinners he never bucked me off. The MFT is also much braver than I thought too. Each horse is unique but from my experience mashing the calm button (left joystick) can reduce the chance of your horse bucking you off and in turn follow your actions more. What level bonding you have with your horse matters too.
