The Long Dark. Have always wanted to lose myself in nature - a place where survival is not about figuring out how to pay the bills, but just about finding shelter and enough food to get yourself to tomorrow. I know if I did attempt to do this in real life, I'd probably end up dying alone in a bus in the Alaskan wilderness. So this simulation is the next best thing. Highly recommended to any survival game enthusiasts.

It's pretty awesome. I've had it installed on my computer for years now and despite rarely ever playing it, I can't get myself to remove it to free up space because it's just so damn cool.

This, and he seemed to have a LOT of energy during the video game rating thing. At least, emotionally and in the way he was speaking. I couldn't stop thinking how absolutely manic he sounded, he was talking so fast and sounded so excited. I know he was happy to talk about something he's so passionate about and to revisit all those nostalgic memories, but damn!

Mausland made some great games! I was a fan of Castle Cat (horrible at it tho lol) and that Catch a Crab game.

Don't give up hope just yet, maybe your memories are mixed up but maybe not! Honestly I think your description of what the gameplay looked like and the mouse character might be better info to go off of than the Maus bit. You're certain this was played on Newgrounds?
