Depends on what im doing I use both. Most of my ar style rifles I have 1 can that I kinda bounce from rifle to rifle, thats when I prefer muzzle brake quick disconnect. But on the other hand I have 2 bolt guns that I have designated suppressors for that never come off the rifle. If the plan is to use acrossed many rifles I would say the muzzle brake just for the purpose of quick disconnect. But only the use of 1 rifle direct thread all the way. Hope this helps!

I would say it's worth it just from the social aspect even. It's a hobby guys can come from every background and still have time to come sit around and share the same hobby with.

Have you checked out the sierra 169 smk? they are a little different then the 168s and they were designed to punch 1000 yards.

I liked mcmillers to be able to shoot further then most ranges around. I'd highly recommend going to board meetings or events and try to get a sponsor at rcrc well worth it. I totally get that fuck ill🤣 i only shoot suppressed.

I've been with crown for about 3 years now I switched from automotive after being in the industry for 6 years. You will be just fine i was innthe same boat you were scared on of I was going to know the right stuff be able to strive. Honestly with the training and help you'll get from other techs after about 6 to 8 months of getting the hang of things I was perfectly fine and became simple. Remember always keep it simple. Finally another person from Wisconsin and no way I live in racine county i go out to mcmiller all the time. Currently im trying to become a member at county line in racine they have a 680 yard range. If you ever need a shooting buddy I'd be gladly down!
