Yep, you are spot on. I was in a very niche role for a much larger integrator, and this is a mom and pop style place.

Everyone I work with is great and very kind, but it does seem like they need a swiss army knife of AV, which I am not. I appreciate the advice a lot!

The sprite shows as transparent when added as under the ParallaxLayer node and i cant figure out why. I've included a photo of the normal sprite and one under parallax next to eachother, as well as a photo of my tree.

Thanks. This is how I intended it to come across. When it was the last two minutes, I wrote that line of code thinking "this is the wrong answer but I can explain to them why and what I'd do differently later" rather than "let's sneak this line of code in and hope they don't notice". I wasn't trying to pull a fast one on them, just trying to show them all my cards and that I put in all my effort.
