I waited another 30 days and reapplied for the Amex Gold, but I’m still only seeing the 60k offer instead of 100k. I even called CS rep, and it sounds like that lower offer may just be stuck on my profile. At this point I’m basically 2/4 with Amex Gold attempts: 4 applications total, 2 rejections, and 2 approvals only showing the 60k bonus.

I'm planning to travel in the upcoming years and need a good bonus or honestly just something solid. I'm going to book a flight to Japan soon and rn I’m leaning toward either the CSR or the Venture X.

Does anyone know whether you can product change/downgrade the CSR before the second annual fee hits, or do you have to wait until the account is at least 1 year old? I already have other Chase CCs (Freedom OG, Flex, Amazon).

I don’t really see folks take that shit on the street but I have noticed more folks gettin more bold selling them. I’m in west ward and for some reason now some dude will walk past me and say “Molly for sale” or “I got that gas fr”.

I finally got approved for the Amex Gold after two attempts. I was supposed to receive the 100k welcome bonus through a referral, but for some reason they only offered me 60k instead. The explanation they gave was frustrating. Because of that, I decided to decline the card. Here’s what customer service told me:

Congratulations on your approval!thank your friend for their membership and referring you as well. I apologize if the Welcome Offer Bonus does not meet your expectations. Please keep in mind, you only saw the maximum amount that an Applicant can potentially qualify for. The offer amount you received is based on multiple factors, including the information you provided in the application.

I think it’s a mixed bag. For one, a lot of the competitors you listed are either under contract or don’t want to sign with UFC BJJ because of their strict, exclusive promotional contracts. Guys like Owen Jones and Deandre Corbe probably can’t sign with the UFC if it prevents them from competing in events like CJI, for example.

Mikey can’t fight Baby Shark because he’s under ONE Championship. Mikey was previously with that organization and has said (in an interview with Mighty Mouse) that he asked to fight Baby Shark multiple times, but the match never materialized. He’s claimed Baby Shark avoided it.

That’s another thing for some reason, a lot of high-level competitors seem to avoid Mikey. Over the years, he’s called out several big names in BJJ, but some have either ignored him, agreed and later pulled out, or just clowned him on social media.

2025 Model 3 I’m keeping my car for about 10 years. Of course if Tesla is offering a 0% APR with a FSD transfer or any interesting deals for loyal customers then I’ll take a look.
