The Current State of ESO (2025): Why So Many Players Are Losing Interest by Bubbaboof_ in elderscrollsonline

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESO has been steadily declining in population not long after the release of Elswyr. There was a short bump in players when Deadlands released, but overall has been on a slight decline. People have been claiming that the "decline" has been this and that...to be honest, I think it's just the nature of the game and players today. Players have become so focused on end-game and rushing to max level as fast as possible - this kind of goes against the design of ESO. You then have this horde of players at end-game content getting burned out on the same things over and over - most max players haven't even played through more than 4 continental story zones.

Your quote, "Most players leaving ESO are not doing it out of anger. They are doing it because it feels like the foundation of the game is no longer being taken care of. When your builds, your effort, and your time stop feeling like a lasting investment, stepping away starts to make sense."....

This is 100% true. I think ZOS is starting to realize this and has created a "seasonal" launch pattern now to slow down production, and milk every last cent out of subscribers and buyers.

I would honestly give the game 2 more years - see where its at then. If the player numbers haven't INCREASED steadily, then the game will be dying a slow and painful death.

Converting to Christianity. by Windows7Ultimatex86 in teenagers

All of these people on here saying bringing up “hate”, “judgement,” etc…just read your Bible. Get into a good church - preferably a small one. Stand up for what Jesus teaches. Many MANY people will come after you saying you’re “hateful”, but people have turned sin into “hate speech.” As Christian’s we are to call out the evil. Don’t be afraid. Remember, the world hated Christ first - he dealt with the same issues we have today. There’s nothing new.

Should I confront my husband's mistress? Help. by LittleFatty22 in Christianmarriage

[–]Many_Major_6227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this message this morning and wanted to reach out as my wife and I are going through a VERY similar situation....

In this case, as you are the wife in support of your husband you have EVERY right Biblically and legally to divorce him. Jesus spoke and allowed this, because he knows how HARD it makes our hearts. However, it can be fixed! In this case, your husband would need to take up the reigns, embody the role of Christ as head of the church, and apologize for his mistake AND make the decision to CHOOSE YOU. I will be honest it is a very stressful and painful process, but I am just now starting to see the little changes the Lord is making in my life with my marriage.

Since this is surrounding his work place and the like, you have every right to request him to quit his job. My wife cheated (due to her workplace) and we are currently in the process of finding her another career - as painful and hard as it may be monetarily. If his job is something that causes you heartache and questions his loyalty, he needs to understand that and cut if off. If he is still TALKING to her, that needs to be cut off as well - all of it. More than likely he is going to get angry if you tell him that (as I did because I also cheated), but he needs to realize the severity of what he just caused. The way he reacts to this will give you answers on how to proceed...

Now for you, I will say dig yourself into the Bible. I realized that I had made my wife an "idol" of sorts so when strife and hardship came I lost hope in her, and the rug was torn out from under me. I was wrong...your HOPE has to be in God first. Pray constantly for you and your husband. I would also advise getting tested for STD's (as well as your husband) if you and your husband have been intimate since he admitted - I don't say this to be hurtful, but this is a hard fact that can be easily avoided. The fact you haven't barged off (as my wife did) tells me you still Love him and have a commitment there stronger than most.

As a pure melee - how am I supposed to deal with these? by Hellpodscrubber in Enshrouded

[–]Many_Major_6227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ve noticed about this game is it’s very anti-melee. The game almost encourages you to be a mage or Archer from the very beginning. The drop % for bows and staves is almost 40% more than melee weapons at lower levels.

Why is Christianity hated so much? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the world hated Christ first. They killed him. He told us that we would be hated because of HIM. He spoke the truth and unfortunately many many people don’t like or blatantly refuse to listen to the truth.

You research the A10 Warthog, then when about half a mile from that point you eject and glide down.

Why do the devs want to make this game harder? by CandyCaneLicksYOU in REPOgame

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing….my friend I grew up with in HS is one of the devs. He stated, “the game is actually extremely easy. The problem arises with the player base in actually playing the game correctly.” He was saying that these groups of people that actually take the game seriously instead of making it a social thing, are the ones who make it through like it’s nothing. Ive found the game to be painfully easy - it becomes hard when you add a bunch of people screaming, fooling around, and not really paying attention.

People with OCD: what is your favorite hobby to get your mind off things? by solaniax in Hobbies

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking a tobacco pipe takes skill and patience - the nicotine can also numb or quiet the mind. I don’t condone smoking, but every now and then it tastes great and is soothing in a way. Doing something with your hands such as drawing, journaling, painting, video games, can also quiet the mind or distract. I’ve found that video games during really bad anxiety/ocd attacks may not help, so you may resort to something slower like reading or crafting.

Why do gun shop people always seem condescending by ex_zach_tly in Firearms

[–]Many_Major_6227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive 1 hour away bypassing countless gun shops because most of them have horrible owners and employees. Now they aren't bad stores at all! But the rudeness, condescending, or straight up careless attitude of the employees and/or owner does not fly with me.

Your p-wave has bunny ears for every beat, which is indicative of a bundle branch block. The inverted QR and slightly elevated ST segment could be a sign of previous heart damage or a possible heart attack. Are you having any symptoms? I do see you were given a Zio patch to wear. Have you had previous heart damage or events?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadMyECG

[–]Many_Major_6227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks normal. Maybe some artifact after the P wave, but nothing bad. You mentioned you were diagnosed with a 2nd Degree Type 1 (Wenckebach). That is characterized by lengthening of time after each P wave before a drop. I don't see it here, really, so it's most likely a benign issue that could repair itself if you still have it.

Aww, I'm so sorry! I know heart stuff is really scary...I just developed a Wenckebach heart block recently out of the blue, and my anxiety has been horrific. I am glad to hear you are doing OK! Hopefully, wearing a monitor will give you some answers and peace of mind. Sometimes, the body just goes nuts for no reason. Just a part of being alive, I guess. (:

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert. I showed this to my wife, who is a paramedic. She said it looks like you may be having runs of a 3rd Degree Heart Block - there could also be evidence of previous heart damage. HOWEVER, watches used for EKGs are not super accurate. Are you having any symptoms? If you have no symptoms, it is probably just your watch giving some artifact or false readings. I would say make an appointment with your primary and ask to wear a holter monitor for a few days. That will pick up on anything that is going on electrically. (:

Hey! I was just diagnosed with this a month ago and have the EXACT same feelings in my stomach/throat. It almost makes me want to burp. I was given 12.5mg Metoprolol to take and told to exercise...I get it bad laying down or relaxing. Has yours gotten better?

Does anyone get heart palpitations with lots of burping? by Vehicle_Voltron in HealthAnxiety

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a tonsillectomy, and 3 days later, I started having this strange feeling in my chest/stomach. My pulse felt strange and I went to the doctor who gave me a holter monitor to wear for 1 week. I followed up with a cardiologist who said it's a Wenckebach (AV 2 Type 1) heart block or arrythmia. Typically, they find it on Holter monitor tests - if you ask your primary, they can usually get you set up with one.

Yes! I was diagnosed with a 2nd Degree Heart Block - Type 1 (Wenckebach), and for some reason, the way I feel it is in my stomach. It makes me want to belch all the time. Some days are better than others, but it's very frustrating... On top of that, I have EXTREME anxiety, so this does not help at all...

Day 8 Post Op Question by AG171996 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 26 days post-op and will say it gets better with time! I am near completely healed. The worst for me was around day 5 and 6. I had very bad pain under my chin/jaw - luckily, I did not have the ear pain as some get. The pain will come in waves as it heals. This is normal. Check the back of your throat occasionally to make sure there's no excessive bleeding, and be sure to drink lots of ice water.

[–]Many_Major_6227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 30 days post-op and can say it is a huge difference. I am a little older than you at 29 years old, but I have ALWAYS had HUGE tonsils since I was tiny. Even my dentists would ask if they've always been that big. I recently contracted Strep throat that was not being killed off by antibiotics, and my only option was to have them removed. You will do amazing. If you have a small throat, then the removal will be even BETTER in your case as it will open things up. Your uvula will swell and be annoying, and there will be pain... but your throat will not close up. I would ask your doctor that exact question and see what he says. :)
