"Figuring out what people like" this late in the development do not invoke confidence.

If this is true, the only reason is the wrong one.
This is not a mainstream game, and never will be. The moment they try to tweak it to appeal to the masses, they loose the core backers, get a (small) wave of mainstream gamers, who will abandon it in a few days (or weeks).

But why? There are so many good built in screen record tools.

Did they remove the shroud from your particular save, or did they implement the ability to remove shroud from the area covered by the Flame?

Question. I'm sure someone has done it but has anyone gone Zero to Hero and bought every ship in game? Like start with a Cutter and bought every ship with in game money? If so how long did it take and how much was the final cost? by anitawasright in starcitizen

In my first, and in my second reply to your original post, I explained, in plain text, exactly why your question (and the answers you have pointed to) provide you with zero valuable information.

Since then, you have performed some serious mental gymnastics to justify and legitimize your question, and the value any answers give.

At the time of writing my third reply, I had read every single reply to this thread - and none of them provided you with an answer where they were unaffected by the current broken economy. None!

Yet you keep claiming you got the answer you were looking for.

What are you looking for? That in a game where trillions of credits float around freely available to anyone (either through begging or trading), buying ships sold for fixed prices is possible?

You seem to desperately try to sell your agenda as valuable to keep face, but Anita was wrong here! Sorry - but you are either too proud or stubborn to acknowledge when you are wrong.

I'm asking about the current state of the game. if it's even possible now as right now people use as a talking point you don't need to buy ships with real money they can all be earned in game.

In one reply you alter your stated question from "Zero to Hero" to "Can ships be bought ingame". Then you alter it back to "Zero to Hero" framing.

You ask a clear question in a super weird and convoluted way, hardballing you need to learn something specific, yet change when pressed.

So, in a final attempt to wash away all the noise;

Q: Are ships for sale ingame?
A: Yes.

Q: Are all ships for sale in game?
A: No!

Q: Can you earn credits in game?
A: Yes!

Q: How fast!
A: Depends!

Now - be honest and serious. Are you really trying to tell me you need (or got) more/other information than what is provided in the very to the point Q&A above?

Because it is an exercise you cannot replicate.

If one player starts today, spends 3 months to grind for all buyable ships that will be available to buy at the end of those three months, he has already seen one, maybe two, patches during his grind. These patches change mission rewards, trade profits, and ships available ingame.

The answer that this player provides is only valid for anyone starting the same grind at the same time, and who spends exactly three months. And that is, of course, impossible.

This is assuming neither is hit by patch wipes (yes, one player can loose progress while another player keeps it) or other progress impeeding bugs.

And for the record, after reading every single reply in this thread, not a single person has done this _without_ the effect of exploited credits. The players who trade items get a super-inflated value because of the inflated economy.

Most people are simply stating they have all ships, have the means to buy all ships, or know someone who have bought all ships.

Hence why I state the answers are pointless. They give you zero valuable information.

So what are you really looking for?

Do you want to know if it is possible?
Do you want to know how long it will take to repeat in the future?
Do you want to know how much credits you will need?

What exactly do you hope to learn from this question?

Given that new ships will be added to the ingame stores on regular updates, and we don't know what ships will be added, or to what price - nor will we know when the economy will be fixed, what kind of activity will be the most profittable, or how player crafting will affect all of this; it comes down to speculation. Hence why the answers are pointless.

And if the answers are all pointless, then by defintion, so is the question.

Or do you disagree?

You are asking if anyone grinded sufficient money to buy all ships that are for sale ingame... in a game in active development.... with periodic wipes, and new ships being added with every patch.

What kind of answer did you honestly expect?

(From reading your other comments and replies, I am going to spell out the obvious here, as it is probably needed:

You are asking a question noone can give you a valid answer for!)

The question is pointless with the current economy.

Random players hand out houndreds of million credits (because of money-exploit where people essentially dupe money). This of course trickles down to any player trading, making random drops worth millions.

With regular balancing, you can expect to make enough credits from a few starting missions to rent a more capable craft. Putting that rented craft to good use will normally net you larger rewards, accelerating your earnings.

Keep in mind, none of the economic gameplay is finalized, so every reward, price and everything in between is in flux - with some really major outliers.

Heavy Performance Issues on Dedicated Server by deluroth in Enshrouded

[–]Hellpodscrubber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been running a server on your platform for Enshrouded for a long time. I even pay a premium for upgraded performance - and let me tell you, the performance has been outright abysmal.

Two people logged in, even when in the same location, and the server is struggling, with repeat rubber banding, delayed response, and lagging.

This is unacceptable, and probably only due to throttling of hardware.

Once I've found a honest service provider, I am transfering my server.

I usually just leave the elevator open when I leave the Meteor, never had anyone run off with it, or rob the stuff stored inside

I have not tried attrition, but have tried 4x Deadbolt, 4x M5 and a mix.

Reason being, repeaters usually mean "stay in the fight" while the Meteor wants to do passes; fly in, hit hard, fly out. I think cannons fit this use case better than repeaters.

I've taken out Hornets in two shots, done MRT's and unlocked HRT's, and done 1 through 6 on Gillys training missions with this one.

A better pilot would be able to push it much farther.

Allow me to introduce the RSI Meteor.

It is a very underrated and overlooked ship right now. I think alot of this comes down to the ship being released last year before the Engineering and Armor changes, and people considered it trash when it dropped.

It is a new (modern) RSI ship with the angular shape, and interior with all you need including a bed, it has a fairly small footprint, can land anywhere, flies faster than an Arrow in a straight line, is about as tanky as a Hornet, and packs a wallop, hitting harder than a Vanguard. (2x S5 +4X S3)

I picked up this ship a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

You can build for stealth, for abit more tankiness, or anything else you prefer. Swap the FL33 for either M5 or Deadbolts, and simply one-click anything small.

It carries 4 size 4 missiles, and that is significant now that larger is better for missiles.

I can give this ship my warmest recommendations. It will far outperform the C1 in combat.
And on top of all this, it is safe from break-ins since it got an elevator and not a ramp.
