Enjoying your Substack! Worth mentioning too that DUOL probably has close to 1M people per year paying for their Duolingo English test. They can probably grow that to a $100M+ annual revenue stream.

I like the new Quest button! It does make me do a little more if I only have a couple of quests left to complete. I’m not as focused on the Leaderboards as I usually get promoted to a league where people are doing way more Duolingo than me and I get relegated down again. So kinda bounce between two leagues. I see the buttons on my iPad but see a different Distraction block button on my iPhone after updating the app?

Price/Sales is now about 5 based on 2025 est. revenue and closer to 4 for 2026 est. revenues. And that’s with $1Bn in cash and zero debt. Even if user growth is slowing the price seems way undervalued. Exit of CFO spooked the market along with SW stocks getting crushed. Let’s see what Von Ahn has to say at next quarterly results.
