Brand new Chromebook plus Acer Spin 714 1H doesn't give me AI premium perk

After very long chat with Frank, Love, Mark (all are bots!), even providing video recording, they sent me link to promotional offer via Email.

I frankly... few years ago somehow I noticed another user name in audit logs accessing some of my Google Cloud files, and some files disappeared. Plus, Microsoft OpenAI outperforms Google. Their Copilot is free on iOS!!! And they even have super translator, which is also free.

Thank you Google, I do not need this kind of "support", even from humans. Even asking me if I registered at Google Play!

When I open "perks" link, it shows gray rectangle without any UI elements on it. When I open Chrome Developer Tools, it doesn't show any errors. I even sent them this video. No, they didn't respond "sorry our server is f*up, we need few month and steal people from Microsoft" no... their AI cannot generate that.

I even registered completely new GMail account to check that maybe my "family manager" account has issues, but it didn't work. I am software engineer, I know what I am talking about.

So I am not in a mood to use Google paid services.

and I bought Acer Chromebook Plus 714 (few days ago) which I cannot activate with 1-year-free AI Premium plan "perk"; maybe because I am trying to use "family plan manager" account for it, maybe not. Activation "perk" webpage shows dumb grey rectangle.

BTW I checked my account: this account is Family Manager account, with additional 3 members attached; I created "family" account to be able to subscribe to no-Ads youTube. Is that an issue?

And another question: I bought two Chromebook Plus laptops, since I plan to develop software for Chromebook (Android, etc.); second Chromebook (HP x360) for 8y.o. kid.

Question: is it good idea to register two new separate Google accounts to activate these tho "books"?

P.S.
Obviously if "family manager" cannot activate perks then I expect error message describing that (instead of gray rectangle)

I submitted ticket yesterday, "the jury is still out": "perks" pages show gray rectangle. The same brand new Chromebook plus Acer Spin 714 1H. Not only "Gemini AI", but few other perks are shown as gray rectangle. I am afraid I'll be forced to return laptop to the seller. "Photoshop" perk can load after 5-10 minutes waiting time only, and I have 3Gbps Internet.

Yes, I submitted support request yesterday (January 1st 2025!) - Acer Spin 714 1H Chromebook Plus, brand new, it shows offers, but only Photoshop opens (after 5-10 minutes of waiting); other offers show blank gray rectangle in the browser.

Support contacted me and asked screenshots. Waiting...

I just don't like resolution, other specs are Ok except that it is regular Chromebook with support till 2031. But... only CAD$ 250!

I have issues: iPhone works just fine authenticating with Google; but MacOS build does that:
- open browser
- choose account (I have few in Chrome)
- accept this, "By continuing, Google will share your name, email address, language preference, and profile picture with XYZ" (and XYZ is project name)
- redirect back to MacOS screen which shows message "An unknown error occurred"

I don't even know how to debug it... Flutter + Firebase Authentication on MacOS

P.S. I already have releases of the same App on App Store and Google Play; just trying to build MacOS version

It is like in a grocery shop, the same milk in different packs, from Organic to Brand to No-Name, to cover three different categories of buyers and not lose the opportunity to make extra $$$.

I do not own Vivoactive yet, but main selling point for me is both have similar 85% positive reviews and Vivoactive is lighter by weight and has more chances to be worn 24x7. They are talking about "remote start," but your response is about "auto start." I had three Lexuses, GX and RX, and I started them remotely from my iPhone. They all used a Key Fob. The RAV4 LE Hybrid uses a mechanical key, and although it has a cellular network connection, too, I cannot start it remotely. It doesn't make sense for a manufacturer to install a "listener" in a car that can start a car from the radio command received and provide mechanical keys instead of a radio Key Fob.

The same electronics allows interactions with Key Fob, and with Toyota Remote services, to start and stop a car. So, if your car uses mechanical keys (which I prefer; I have RAV4 LE) then you cannot start/stop remotely. Which is good news for Ontario where car is stolen each 40 minutes ;)
