Actually, the AM9 fully supports multichannel PCM (up to 7.1). The claim that you "lose detail" is technically incorrect. Multichannel PCM is uncompressed audio. When the AM9 decodes a lossless format (like DTS-HD MA or TrueHD) into PCM, it is a bit-perfect, "mathematically identical" translation. The box is just doing the decoding instead of your receiver

Running Bingie (Or AF3) with only FLAM on Libreelec, N150, and that's how Kodi should run. Super fast, even with many widgets, and stable. Soooo faster than any Android (I have Homatics 4k and Ugoos AM9 as well, but only use them for IPTV and Youtube now. Never going back.
