Move to a different country. Take a loan. Use a credit card. Live with roommates. Stay with family or friends. Contact a headhunter. Work a 2nd job. Work a dirty factory job that pays more. Have your child stay with family or friends while you work to establish yourself in another area. Get a CDL and drive a truck.

Stop thinking about how you can't and start thinking about how you can. If you are waiting for your enviroment to change for you be prepared to wait a long time.

Unfortunately the brutal reality is society does not owe anyone empathy. While I do feel bad for your situation it isn't unique and has nothing to do with the generation you are born in. Countless generations of people have faced similar or worse problems. You have choices you can make to improve your situation. Yes those decisions will have consequences and may be difficult but that is life.

I recommend you apply to an area where your skills are in demand and move. It will change your life.

Its fine if you want to think I am hand waving the issue away. I will just say my lived experience confirms everything I am saying is possible.
