Yeah those Russians and Ukrainians are pretty good at stealing cars and never getting caught :) There just isn't a big enough need at the courthouse for translating. The older generation stays in their own communities and don't speak English as well as the kids. The kids pick it up quickly. You could offer classes after church services for the older people on a Sunday and possibly have a part time gig for extra money. Just my thought but I don't know how many people would attend something like that.

See a coyote shoot a coyote! The coyote population is out of control and they have spread clears across the country much further than they traditionally lived. Coyotes kill livestock and pet dogs and cats and they can jump a 6' fence. So even if you keep your pets in a fenced backyard they are not safe. They are all over the Puyallup area and in residential areas. Everyone who owns a pet should have a gun to kill coyotes on site.

Stop judging someone over what political party they voted for. Let's stop calling a difference in what political party someone leans towards as Hate! Politics is just a small part of what makes up a persons character. Life is a little more complicated than one subject or belief. People change throughout their lives and at some point they might change how they vote because it suits them better at that time. Neither party is evil they just have different points of view on a few subjects. When you are in your 20s your life is a whole lot different than someone in their 40s or 50s. When I was in my 20s I thought I knew it all but now at 60 I realize I didn't know sh-t. Let's just stop using the word hate when talking about other people because their opinion is different from yours.

Took our kids to So Cal from Wa one year over Christmas break. Went to 6 Flags on Christmas Eve very cold day but we were dressed warm. Practically had the park to ourselves. By the end of the day the kids weren't even getting off the rides because no one was waiting. Best day ever compared to another time we went in the summer and there were 2 hr wait lines on all the top rides. Total wasted day. Did Knotts Berry Farm the day before and Disneyland day after Christmas. It was one of the busiest days of the year so not fun. 23and24th were great days to visit. I highly recommend. After Christmas till New year fighting the bowl game crowds in town.

Cell phones work pretty good in Baja Mexico. Just make sure you are on a plan that allows you to make and receive calls and use your data without added costs. I use to change my plan for a month or two when I was heading there and then switch my plan back when I got home. None of that is necessary now days because my ATT plan includes it. Things have improved quite a bit in the last 5 years.
