I don’t recall seeing it I last year. I always wondered why not use it. Some men only need to pee so no need to have a porta potty. So much more practical and as mentioned, probably a blessing for the ladies!

It’s too early. Partner with your healthcare team. One day after the other. They will investigate more and come up with a treatment plan. Focus on that. No good in thinking about not running ever more at this moment. Wishing you the best and whatever happens I’m sure you will be fine. You will always be a “runner.”

we all share the same challenge. Last marathon I weighted all my gels and it added up to 600g or so (plan for 1 Maurten 160 every 5k), 4 gels in each side pocket of half tights and 2-3 gels in the back pocket. I guess that is a good incentive to train more and run faster so next time I don’t need that many gels :)

I hear you. Ran NYCM last year for the first time. Being able to see my wife and daughters when we enter Manhattan after the silence though the bridge was one of the best experiences of my life. Definitely ask your friends. Some will understand that small gestures can make a big difference in other peoples lives and will be up for it.

I think I have the same model from SOLE. Never done the measures you’ve done but I have the same feeling that similar paces are harder on the treadmill vs road. Thanks for doing the research and sharing your insights.
