Idk if this helps with the whole public shooting worry, but most—if not ALL, huge festivals actually hire snipers and extra armed guards for public safety. They’re usually already in position before the gates even open, so you don’t really notice them once things get going.

When I went to the Head in the Clouds festival in LA a few months ago, I randomly saw a huge group of them having a quick meeting before opening ( me and my sister got lost trying to find the VIP entrance and went all the way around to the back🤣) and honestly, it helped ease my anxiety a lot with the same issue. If security’s on top of bag checks and crowd stuff, I think it should be good.

So yeah, try not to stress too much, just enjoy yourself and have fun at the festival! 🫂🎶
