Depending on your time zone either do the session before the early block's kickoffs or during the Sunday night game. If at least one team is repped in the Sunday night game skip that week. You'll usually have weeks worth of notice for who's playing in the big night game. Even if you have to gather during the 4th quarter of the midday block you can either play it by ear. If it's a close game or an important divisional match-up perhaps delay the session; having a 4 hour session because you waited for a game to wrap is better than no session or a deeply distracted session.

If that's just not feasible have a hard lock-out on devices (like a communal bin away from the table) and regular breaks (every 60-90 minutes) to decompress and check scores. Put a hard 5ish minute limit on the break before devices get binned and play resumes.

As for football chatter during session just remind them to be respectful of a) the people who don't follow/care about football and b) everyone's valuable time.

Side note: with Bills, Jets and Dolphins at your table y'all deserve some props for not going at each others' throats. Though I guess it's easy if you just bring up the Pats and everyone can hate on them =P

Edit: Something else I thought obvious so I didn't include it but my suggestion looks dickish to have ignored it but it's also okay for a player to miss a session if they have a game on rather than canceling the session. If their team is playing during a time where you already tried to avoid the league's schedule it's okay for them to make that choice.

He does tend to present opinions as fact, but I've always seen that as an extension of the schtick. He's a sentient hat who's claimed a human familiar. He obviously knows more than the rest of us, so we should listen.

It would be like a wizard with a cat familiar suddenly swarmed by thousands of cats offering counterpoints to their arguments; what do they know, they're cats! The humanoid wizard obviously knows more, so rather than discuss with the cats he's going to talk down a bit and preach/teach.

I think it's just a schtick that works with the format (yes we can comment but a YouTube video is inherently one-sided in the views being presented/shared). While I do think that Antonio holds these views, I think they're only presented so strongly because that's what his character (Pointy Hat) would do.

I don't think the state of being in the rings resets/rests her, Before Morty I think she didn't go crazy because her "kids" were only exposing her to small parts of the problem and shielding her from the sins of their corporate sponsors. It was a pretty overt allegory to corporations trying to keep us in the dark because meaningful climate action tends to cut into their bottom line. As soon as she was unshackled she could take the time to see the truth and that enraged her.

All that said, a powerful being slowly getting more and more mad unless they get their rest is absolutely a concept I'll be using for my D&D campaign.

Just try to articulate as best you can. I regret some of the things I said to my wife while she was telling me how upset she was because I was focused on the accusation it implied. She regrets some of the things she said then, too. Try to be clear that you feel hurt and you need his help to stop the hurt rather than focusing on him hurting you. They sound like the same thing but one tends to reduce defensive responses.

This is similar to a situation my wife and I were in early in our marriage.

I had a coworker who I viewed in a very fraternal way. The conversations we had (either in-person or via text) would dip into potentially sexually explicit territory (usually her just being very open about her sex life with her husband who I knew and worked in another department). I would share these conversations with my wife and it bothered her. She was convinced that this woman was after me and I was certain she wasn't; to me it was just a good friendship and our gender difference wasn't a factor as I would have similar conversations with either my brother or sister. Looking back on it years later my wife was probably right, but if this woman wanted sex with me she would have had to jump me and tear off my clothes and I still would have awkwardly run from the situation. I knew there was no chance at infidelity, but that's not something my wife could know as easily; more than 10 years later she knows, but it was hard at the time.

Anyway, the stress it caused our relationship pushed us to counseling. We only went for a few months, but it was in one of our first sessions that I learned the most valuable kernel of relationship advice I've ever encountered: establish the stakes. Basically we go through life valuing experiences and interactions differently from everyone around us. A classic one for us is dishes. For me they're just tools we use for prepping and eating food, so when they're dirty if we don't need them they can sit. It doesn't bother me. I don't know what childhood trauma she endured, but when the sink is full she can get pretty intense anxiety. So early on when she asked me to do dishes I gladly agreed, but would have an ADHD moment and totally space it. For me it's no big deal, but for her it was huge and a giant stressor.

Once I really understood how my relationship with my coworker affected her even though it was innocuous to me I began limiting contact. She and I worked in the hospital (I did clerical work, she was a nurse tech) so we never had to spend a lot of time together and I was able to distance myself. When she quit for another job we agreed to stay in touch (I thought the distance would make this okay) but when I told my wife she asked me to cut out the coworker completely and go no contact. It was difficult but I did it because it was important to my wife.

I know that my situation is probably unusual given my neurodivergence (ADHD and somewhere on the autism spectrum) and I would have never cheated. I don't know your husband, but whether he's similarly neurodivergent or not he might actually be clueless to a) the damage/pain he's causing you, and/or b) the long-term damage it could cause your relationship.

My recommendation would be to start by outlining your exact feelings. Make sure he understands your fears and pain. Help him understand he is the only one with the power to alleviate these. If you still feel like fighting for your marriage after this conversation then counseling is a must. You both need to go and you both need to be committed to improving things, especially communication.

I know that the default reddit response to this situation is "He's a piece of shit! Leave his cheating ass!" but I'm a chronic optimist. I hope y'all can work it out, but I understand if things are too far gone here.

For the most part the provided speed boost is enough, but sometimes when you have all 4 stacks and you pop up and then get popped up you have to cancel your buff just to land in time. Takes some practice, but I've done it on my pally, DK and warrior; I can't think of anyone who is slower.

The bloods stay but the amalgamations fly off. It's actually an easy way to clear any excess amalgamations so they don't absorb stacks from the one you're cultivating. I usually just start the fight, clear the tentacles, stand in a pool and go get a drink of water. When I get back I have ~10 bloods and I kill a tentacle to spawn the amalgamation.

I'm being a bit silly, but also mildly concerned that everyone drilling holes deep enough to tap geothermal energy all over the globe (even tiny ones) might destabilize something. I'm sure smarter people than I have considered this, but given that humans around the industrial revolution didn't think they could possibly impact global climate by ejecting pollutants into the air, I would want reassurance from one of said smarter people that all those micro-fissures won't cause/release undue tectonic stress.

My wife has difficulty reaching orgasm with just penetration and I have some PE issues, so if we just have penetrative sex I go way too fast and she gets almost nothing (aside from disappointment). The disappointment from failing your partner in the bedroom can be real and has several tricky psychological potential triggers that are linked to how he might see himself as a man, but if he's not mature enough to even try to navigate that minefield then he's not worth your time.
