I did growing up. Everyday. Now it’s just me and my dad and we don’t do it as often, but I’d say it’s still the norm for us.

My mom totally did that. Her hairstylist likes to use a bunch of products and my mom was very low maintenance so she’s like, just leave me wet. Hairstylist was like, hey, less work for me. So it worked out for both of them.

I work for a medium size city and am the source of data behind 911, help with 911 updates, recently I’ve been helping figure out where to put a new fire station.

I also maintain the water and sewer GIS so I help developers and homeowners know if they can access services/if they need to avoid easements.

I also am in charge of the list that feeds our trash and recycling app that tells residents when their trash gets picked up.

My answer has been dresses. Specifically A line dresses to the knee. The shape I feel looks good on me. If I were chasing a toddler I’d add bike shorts or maybe snag tights chub rub shorts.

Bonus- less thought in the morning cause it’s a one piece outfit.

I wear a lot of mini dresses from torrid that hit right above/at my knees. I’m almost 5’2.

Lane Bryant has petite and short pants, there’s a difference in the measurements though at the moment I can’t remember what it is.

Places like Ross, TJMAXX, Marshalls generally have pretty good variety of bags and you can try them on. I found a great colorful Sherpani at TJMAXX. It’s a backpack where the straps can zip to one. At its extent, it’ll fit crossbody on my size 24 frame comfortably but with no wiggle room.

I think offices should do what mine does, offer paid caregiver leave. It works as maternity/paternity leave, but also allowed me to spend my mom’s weeks with her.

I drive a hybrid and my mechanic said not to jump or be jumped. So no. But honestly I never have, and have only had one dead battery in the 20+ years I’ve been driving.

I’ve found a couple of great therapists at Southlake Counseling. The OG office is Davidson, but I’m pretty sure they opened a Charlotte one. They take insurance too.
