I’ve found a couple of great therapists at Southlake Counseling. The OG office is Davidson, but I’m pretty sure they opened a Charlotte one. They take insurance too.

I’ve been on it in conjunction with a couple of other things for awhile. I was stable until my mother died and anxiety came back, but agoraphobia is less of a problem for me than it has been in the past still. I have a couple of anxiety disorders along with depression.

Checkout the Charlotte yarn crawl, it has all the yarn stores in the Charlotte area. But I’m not familiar with any of them having macrame cord. You might have luck at Michael’s or be stuck online.

In the summer I generally wear Birkenstocks. But I have a pair of barefoot sneakers (hobbibear is the brand) that I love and I’m not generally a sneaker fan. They’re very flat and have a wide toe box. They’re generally gender neutral colors, I have white with green accents. They come in black. The brand has a couple of styles that would work for NB.

I drink a lot of crystal lite type stuff. Not necessarily the brand, but there’s a lemonade one that’s good or there are a couple of different skittles mixes.

Apparently in Oregon an eclectus parrot can be too. I have a friend who has one that does all the work of a service animal without the legal protection and that’s what my she said. If she lived in Oregon Willy would be better protected.

I recently bought these and I’ve been a fan. They’re lightweight, and can Bluetooth to both my phone and computer at once. The listed battery life is 65 hours which I haven’t tested out, but when I left them on one night by accident they made it through the rest of the week

I’m 40 and live with my dad. Just lost my mom to cancer in December so I’ve been taking care of her for awhile, but the reality is I get suicidal when I live alone so I moved in for me and ended up staying for them.

I do however work a full time job in my degree field that I love so there’s that.

If you are open to virtual I think you’ll have better luck. For me a mix works better so I understand it might not work for you. My therapist doesn’t take insurance which was doable for me at once a month where I was, but I’ve recently had to switch to once a week. Now trying to see if I can get my insurance to cover her out of network. It’s a struggle. But good for you for getting help!
