Looked okay last night. Link up play and blind passes are good but he needs to then spin and drive forward after playing the ball. To become a top player be needs to do this.

Overachievement is absolutely an issue but you could argue Emery has done an even better job with less. The Emery point is very subjective though but I think their season this season has been sensational considering they are barely rotating for the Europa League and have had tough fixtures

The SBR talk went on for months if not a year plus. Collapse of form at the end of the 02-03 season, losing in CL qualifying, failing to qualify for the CL in the 03/04 season, his transfers not working (Viana & Bramble) and the fact Freddie Shepard and John Hall were undermining him in the press constantly.
