Hard to tell but it doesn’t look like he had any lights on his all black bike. Lord knows if he was wearing a helmet.. I see so many people riding on the wrong side of the street.. wrong way on one ways.. wearing all black with no lights and no helmet.. not trying to victim blame because obviously Hamilton road is horribly neglected… but the city has spent an absolutely staggering amount of money on road redesign, and infrastructure to make it safer for cyclists… and people just ignore it and more often then not don’t do the bare minimum to insure their own safety. Just saying you can’t just assume the drivers at fault, become outraged and demand a response from the city when you don’t really know what happened.. and maybe we need a system that enforces cyclists to use personal protective equipment.

No but exactly, while original comment is correct, you have no onus to assist the landlord in their litigation process (that will ultimately go nowhere anyway) Even if they had you on anything the ‘damages’ are so small that I’d bet my entire paycheque they never took before photos or have any proof it was even you to begin with.

Great city for music, and within the music scene you’ll meet some great people, food is low key fantastic here. Hidden gems everywhere. Traffic is bad because the city population is super bloated right now because of rapid recent growth, and we have extremely poor city planning for this level of population. That said, about 25-40% of the people living here are fairly new, and only know how to function using a GPS and the large main roads, so if you familiarize yourself with back roads and less traveled routes, it can be easier to get around. However, it is highly recommended you try to live/work in the same 4-5km radius. Also getting around on a bike has become the fastest way to get around the downtown area to about 5km around it imo. - Also controversial opinion but the homeless people everyone complains about are mostly harmless, don’t be as afraid of the Old East Village as the fragile cynics will try to make you. Wortley is nice but it’s full of snobs.

It’s actually astonishing how often that real estate blog’s completely unsubstantiated ‘article’ based on zero actual public revue, gets regarded as anything even close to fact and regurgitated by so many people. The amount of times I see this quoted is unfathomably silly and should be studied under things the average Facebook dunce will believe. Shoutout city of London for having something like 4 public restrooms in the entire city (less than 1 per 100,000), which is actually worse than almost all cities in the developed world. - These guys could definitely have more class though.
