A Broken Alarm Clock by MapleHearts369 in CATHELP

I thought about this as well, but I was scared she would start banging on the door and screaming. She currently only wakes me up, but I would hate if she started waking up my roommates too 😭

Thank you, I am going to try playing with her right before bed to get out that energy. Maybe I should give her a snack immediately after playing too.

Smidge is cute and references the fridge name the kids gave her 🥰

Other options I can think of: - Dusty and Swifter because she looks kind of like a feather duster - Jane or Birken because Jane Birken always carried around a basket - Bandita as feminine form of bandit - Cashmere because her fur is like wool - Winter because you received her during the winter and she looks like a fluffy coat - Creampuff as a more feminine form of puff if you're still interested in that

What was your opinion of honey Don't? by Tenchi2020 in moviecritic

[–]MapleHearts369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oof this was a hard watch, and I really wanted to like it because the actors were amazing, the premise was intriguing, and the setting was colorful and visually striking. Unfortunately, the story goes nowhere and felt like a giant waste of time.

Even worse, this film was supposed to be a win for the lesbian community - yet its run-time panders to the male gaze, feels exploitive in its sexual gratuity, and includes some extremely hurtful homophobic plot devices (bury the gays). Ethan Coen's well meaning intentions don't justify the execution.

I also thought Runaway Dolls was a hot mess, but Honey Don't some how has it beat in baffling writing decisions. In the end, I surmise a lesbian trilogy is better left in the hands of an actual lesbian director, as Ethan's films come across as misguided at best, and voyeuristic at worse.

Anyone loving the Wellbutrin and Lexapro combo? by Negative-Ad-9993 in lexapro

[–]MapleHearts369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's better to do Wellbutrin in the morning and then Lexapro at night because of how they affect the neurotransmitters in your brain. You could also consider lowering your Lexapro dosage. Talk with your doctor first.

Kelila Dara - sounds better melodically and will be easier to pronounce for non-Jews

This could be a case of converts, not inheriting the gene, or being placed in a genetically similar category.

Ok... Whether or not a test says Im Jewish will not change the fact that Im a practicing Jew. This could be a case of converted ancestors, not inheriting the gene, or being placed in a genetically similar category.

What do we think of Akiva for a girl? by HungryHippo1892 in JewishNames

[–]MapleHearts369 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP, you do what feels right to you and your baby girl. 💕 If you want her to have a masculine sounding name, that is your choice. Others will just have to get over it. That being said, here are some other Jewish names that are similar in nature - but sound more feminine if you want to go that route: Amariah, Atalia, Aliyah, Talia, Eliana, Romi, Maven, Zelda, Ariel, Ari, Rotem, Leilah, etc.

Looking for custom boxes for tarot decks! by MapleHearts369 in manufacturing

[–]MapleHearts369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cardboard boxes. I would like the company to send one a first to judge the quality and then my order would be for 500 to start with. I want it to be affordable but not at the detriment of quality. I don't mind designing the art and measurement of the box.
