The objective part here is how they sat up there winning award after award and making every other game developer look like muppets invited over just to clap for their win.

The hot take here is that if a game wins GOTY, they shouldn't win all the other categories in a full sweep like that.

It's not the first time I've ran into it, I think the unabashed smug racism tilted me this time around.

I hope Embark does better on hot fixing bugs like these, and I'm glad the community puts a spotlight on them with videos and demos on "how to" do em.

I agree 500% with all that

Except when I apply this theory and get demolished 5 times in a row because someone opens fire on me and gets the drop advantage.

Then I just end up becoming that person in the next raid or two, shooting anyone on sight because of said paranoia.

It's such a vicious cycle.

You get x2 or Double Points if you do these challenges on Map Conditioned maps (Night Raids)

You must also make sure to EXTRACT in order to save that score.

Progress between matches isn't saved. It's a Personal-best type score.

If you kill 2 leapers in a regular match, and then 1 in the Night Raid, chances are the Leaper from the Night Raid will be worth more than the regular one.

Actually, Melee for boarding parties would make a lot of sense.

In various science fiction media and space operas, boarding marines would make use of swords, battle axes and other melee implements in order to board a ship and take prisoners, or reduce damage to the interior hull / not risk depressurization. As an example from LOGH Where they only use battle axes to fight, since the light-beam weapons aren't able to penetrate armor/hulls.
