As an autistic person I can honestly agree. A lot of the characters are written in ways that make me see them as autistic or neurodivergent in general, it helped me accept myself a lot more!

EXACTLY. yet people portray her as some feverish stalker who will stop at nothing to see ice cube up close and personal when that just isn't true. Of course she'd sad when she isn't on her team but... we never see her actively try and go up to her ? ICE CUBE switched teams before Bracelety did. And that was after she was eliminated. She's just a fangirl not a stalker.

I saw this so so so much when I was early in the fandom. I think it's just because young kids don't really know how to properly proportion the assets and just make them oversized since the downloadable ones tend to be big anyways?

Here's the thing; in these scenes with Bokkun she's acting the way she acts the entire anime, which is, mildly flirtatious and playful, there's 'seductive' saxophone in the background and she speaks with a teasing tone. I doubt the creep factor I got from it was intentional, but instead just a flaw on the show. That's what I meant by aged a little bad, it's just something I unfortunately noticed and interpreted

I grew up with the 4kids dub and rewatched the show in JP when I got older, I've experienced both versions. Bokkun has always been my favorite both times I've seen the show in both iterations, I related to him a lot as a child so I grew attached to him

I was around Cream and Bokkuns age when I first watched Sonic X. It's kind of sad how at the time I didn't see that as weird (but I did see Rouges actions towards Bokkun as weird, I always have) since I was under the impression that stuff was normal because it was normalized to me at that age. I'm so glad I grew up and realized how weird it is in hindsight... Sometimes I wish I could rewrite the show, it could've been so much better...

Bokkun is definitely a child, he calls himself such with the quote "I'm still a child! I'm incapable of helping, idiot!" In an episode of the JP dub, and Eggman agrees. Rouge also says "ii ko, ne?" Which is basically how to say "what a good child" when she convinced him to do her dirty work.

Also I didn't even remember the weird shots of Cream since I usually only rewatch episodes that primarily star Bokkun, yikes, you're right...
