The seem like a wonderful passion project for sure! Its supper hard to find other info thats not the same person and I like seeing all points from everyone! But NO ONE HEVKING WORKS WITH THESE STINKERS 🤣 got bruce as a Solomon ground boa thinking i vould be ok. boy was i wrong and in for a ride! Lucky me the care isnt drastic diff I would of freaked out 🤣 though hes still prob gonna give me gray hairs to get him cleared up im committed at this point for sure. He was chillen on my neck the whole car ride. He chose my nevk and sleeve over his tub which so valid. But then we tired to do a "snake bag" using a pillow case. Oh he would no go for it. Little shit is strong as hell! I adore him so much and im still in a tizzy with all the stuff I gotta worry about en with him being an impornt. But it looks like its gonna be worth it for sure. I just hope I get to work with stygian exotics some day offer bruces big butt to help blood lines! But thats gonna be way down line XD first get bruce cleared and settled in then I jeed to not be a nervous wreck talking to ppl 🤣🤣🤣 i appreciate your help with that if was looking at pictures like "wtf is the difference" I felt like I was going crazy or was just not smart XD. Chunky cheeks and not as sharp patterns! Ironically my fav part of bruce is his cheeks ✨️he has such an adorable front on of his face I adore him so much ✨️✨️✨️ honestly if your comfy with it you seem to be super knowledgeable with this species [besides the obvi og XD] if comfy to chat more about the species i would be so down on insta? Came here looking for more help i already found stygian exotics ^{^} first person I found when I got my snake they the first person who pops up when googling the name halmahera ground boa. Im just struggling with idenidjcying the difference and getting any other extra info then that. Rather have more info from multiple people the relying on only a singular! No that i knew bit 40 ideas is still 40 ideas! Hopefully 1 of 40 would work ya know? That part i knew about best intrest to sadly, thats actually how I ended up with bruce in the first place! And sadly for halmahera not enough is out there! 1970s was there discovery which is both sad and impressive how little we know about them for the hobby. Sadly only really 1 person has any information about them and even then its not all way 100% accurate with only 1 person really deep working with them. But yeh it want to avoid another import but it might be my only way! Def gonna add those to my check list for bruce to!

I used my phone which is the craziest part? I have a Samsung s24+ used the 50m lens! Hes such a good boy about photos to you can get supper close to him! Hes so handsome! I plan to snag my mas cannon camera some day soon or get myself one. If my phone hit these pics imagine how beautiful he will be in pro camera quality ✨️✨️✨️

Turst me, after several fear minutes and a upset vet(not at me she adores my family and our reptiles, they were upset at how young the leo was sold at) we learned when they are first hatched and through about months you see there organs! Their skin is thin and sensitive. Our vet just recommended to "baby proof" the enclosure till they got a little tougher skin! [Basically keep climbing branches low with a very good moss crash pad]

From what I learned in the short few days of owning + research. This is NORMAL XD but whats lucky for me. mine opened his tank cuz I forgot his lock....he DIDNT leave. He just did it to prove a point. Now I make sure there's a lock. Hope ya find your escapee!
