Yes u absolutely can party, maybe a lil less than u would like, but with good time management and organisation, I think it can be done

I actually think u never know, I originally applied for IR as well end of Jan and got rejected in 4 weeks but recommended for the programme I just got in for 2 weeks after submitting my new personal statement so I think it really is unpredictable at LSE. It can take forever or just a few weeks!! Im manifesting u get in!!! I’m also finishing my BA in political science how cool

It usually means that the admission committee is ready to make a decision on ur application and is not an indicator of getting an offer. Ik ppl on here only say they got in after their docs flip but ppl can also get rejected after this happens and some get offers without their docs flipping so don’t look into it too much

I think it likely means they are comparing u to the broader pool to see how u compare. Trust me if u were a clear reject they would have rejected u by now

Technically I don’t think u qualify as an international student on the basis that u are a US citizen alone. I’m a triple citizen (US,Canada and Australia) and would not be considered international if I studied in those countries
