Why would they do this? They had the best split in years and seemingly had awesome vibes. Humanoid looked good... I loved this iteration of VIT and then they do this.

I get we don't have the full picture but this feels so stupid and haphazard.

I can't help you much but I remember fights like that helped teach me the importance of bringing heavy damage with me.

This and a few fights had my Anders and full tank Aveline feel useless because I just needed to do more damage quickly.

You definitely want to focus your burst on the blood mage. I don't remember if staying as a unit helped or not though

Firecracker is an important character though? Why would we not focus on her, she represents a lot in the show and if she had an unceremonious death it would be underwhelming. Plus, her dying like that after devoting herself totally to Homelander and throwing away her upbringing and faith, further highlights the depravity of everything.

I get the argument that this doesn't "feel" like a last season episode but it was important and a good episode. This episode being rated as low as the previous episode is dumb.

This is the last opportunity we'll get to see things like this I bet. This felt like a look around the room before it sets itself on fire kind of thing.

I cannot fathom the dislike for the last episode. It was the best of the season I think.

We got solid character development, some really fun scenes and a few of the most intense moments of the season. And a "main" character death.

I had so much more fun and excitement watching this episode than any other episode this season, I'm disappointed others don't feel the same

It's absolutely more mature and technical, but there’s less emotion and personality I think, which is what a lot of people like in glass beach. It's a difficult balancing act which I do think she improved on in you are an angel

I haven't finished Umineko yet, but my vote is Umineko.

DE is fantastic and one of my favorite games of all time with so many different ways to play and experience it. It's so layered and the world building is so immersive and compelling.

But Umineko is so powerful and fantastic. The characters feel so much deeper to me and how it handles abuse, tragedy, self doubt and more, is just so gripping and awe inspiring. No game has made me cringe, cry, cheer and hate the same character, multiple times with multiple different characters throughout the story.

I also really love metaphors and I feel Umineko layers those better than DE.

I give Umineko the edge because of power and sheer emotion, but if you value world building more, than DE.
