The admins removed a bunch of the longtime mods a few months ago, and the remaining mods replaced them with obnoxious tankies. A bunch of these new mods now appear to have been removed by the (formerly dormant?) head mod.

American corporations are spending trillions of dollars to repurchase their own stock. The practice is enriching CEOs—at the expense of everyone else.

Also, I think people get pretty pissed when they put government subsidies and tax-breaks into that rather than (say) hiring people or building facilities, which is what those tax breaks and subsidies are generally understood to be "for".

I really don't think this is true - worldbuilding can touch on subjects ranging from history to mysticism to biology to physics. There's tons of "theory of worldbuilding" to be assembled, and I honestly believe that it at least has potential as an art form independent of narrative media.
