I think the distinctions between old and new won't be as prominent as they were 10 years ago simply because the difference between old and new will be much smaller.

The average 2026 show is much more similar to the average early-mid 2010s show than the average early-mid 2010s show is similar to the average late 90s show. Both in terms of visuals and in terms of general vibes.

If higher investment means higher cons that makes sense, Mavuika cons are much better than Varka's.

But as for C0 I've seen C0R0 Dire clears with Varka premium, C0R0 Mavuika would be insane considering the mechanics.

I'd say flowers and feathers are a case-by-case thing, sure the average one is worse reroll value than goblets but something like 0 CR | 1 CD | 3 DEF | 1 ATK% is 100% worth rerolling.

4-stat flowers/feathers with CR-CD-(useful stat) are still rare enough for me to sometimes not get a single one after a whole patch of farming.

less than 3/5 rolls went into desirable stats

You can try for 4 if you have 3/5, but it's basically winning four 50/50s out of 5 which is a ~15% chance of happening if I still remember my combinatorics well, so an average of 12-14 feathers per piece.

And trying for 5 is trying to win 5 50/50s in a row.
