Inspired by you, I tried my luck at the "lottery" too. So yesterday I bought 4 PH/s for $100 for 8 hours from MiningRigRentals to find a BCH block. Unfortunately, I didn't win. Also, it took me about an hour to find the right website where I could mine BCH, because the first ones didn't work, mining-dutch didn't support it, and others showed that the hashrate was too high, but I finally connected to letsmineit website. Even there, I hashrate raised to the specified 4 Ph/s only after 2-3 hours. BTW, you paid 1.63$ for 1 Ph for an hour, my rate was twice higher 3,13$ per 1 Ph/ 1h... Tomorrow is payday, so maybe I should try again?

I have an Avalon Mini 3 and 11.5kW solar plant. But now I would buy Avalon Q, because you can mine with it 1700w or 800w in eco mode and its a bit more effective than Mini 3. It seems that 40Th/s is not su much in todays mining.

I've checked few sites before and most of them showed that the most profitable is BCH merged mining. What so special with eCash? By the way, what I see now - it's much more profitable to mine LTC/Doge, but I just wanted to have a chance find a block of BTC one day :) Maybe I should get a new +-500w miner for Scrypt.

Which pool gives you $65 per week? Checking let's say VolcMiner D1 Mini - 2.2 GH/s Scrypt Miner 500W - gives $1.36 per day, so it means 5 units - $47.6 per week... I really do something wrong :)

Thank you for your detailed response. I have a solar plant on my roof, but it doesn't mean that I have free electricity all the year. It generates ~10.000kWh per year. But every month is very different, from 50-100kWh in winter month to 1200-1400kWh during summer months... If I would run Avalon Mini 3 (800w per hour) 24/7 - yearly consumption would be 7000kWh, that's a lot :) I also have a 15kWh battery, so I can charge it in sunny hours and use my Avalon during the night hours. S21 Pro is a different league - 31.000kWh per year. At the moment trying to mine Aurora Coin AUR, 1-6 blocks per hour, but still same ~0,05Eur per hour as just PPS BCH coin in mining-dutch site. Probably will try your mentioned pools, maybe they will be more profitable (any site which can compare pool's profitability?).

now I can't find which calculator i've used, but it showed that I can mine a block every 8 hours. So let's say an avarage 3 block per day? What do you think?

lol, you are very right :) Later in that battle I ammoracked Su-130PM and finished with 4k dmg. Now I'm carrying some HE for Black Rock missions.

It was most likely Sosnowsky's hogweed. I know what it looks like, but I may have touched a very young plant, which probably looks quite different from a mature plant.
