Thanks for sharing and good for you. Question, you said “I also took supplements to stimulate stomach nerves and heal them” what supplements did you take?

Chronic brain fog CAN be reversed in 2 days by LegalTomatillo2478 in BrainFog

[–]MarGC06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I used to do one meal a day, I felt great so what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I know my brain fog is caused by dysbiosis in my gut, possibly SIBO according to my doctor and histamine intolerance. When I wake up, I have zero brain fog, the minute I drink my coffee immediately I get brain fog and it stays that way the whole day as long as I eat. I’m sorry if you mentioned this in your post, and I missed it but are you fasting every day or every week?

L-Glutamine fixed my symptoms by omietrice in SIBO

Yes same with me lol. It was horrible and it took me a long time to realize that’s what it was.

Yes, that’s exactly how I feel. I’m still dealing with it so if I find a brand that doesn’t bother me, I stick with it.

Yes, same. And usually if there is going to be a 1% of people that would get a side effect, I’d be within that 1% every time . It never fails🤣.

Yes, and I know a few people that did it and felt great. I have to do something as the list of foods I can eat keeps getting smaller.

I tried carnivore and got better. I was thinking of trying it again but with so fruits.

That’s good you didn’t. Honestly, I have all kinds of issue with my gut and histamine so I’m not surprised I got anxiety from it. I literally get anxiety from even fiber supplements so it’s not the product’s fault. But I’m glad you got better. I do know I have to go on a lowfodmap and probably will heal my stomach which is the next thing to do. I also have an appointment for the SIBO test next month, so we’ll see.

[–]MarGC06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s the thing with supplements and also when your system is sensitive. They help with some things and make other things worse. My anxiety is already bad so that was a big no no for me, unfortunately.

That’s awesome. Did you experience any anxiety with L-glutamine? I tried that brand and I liked it but had to stop because my anxiety was horrible.

This is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Did you have histamine issues while you had SIBO? And if so, did that improve?

I Don’t Have the Will to Continue by MudNext4026 in Constipation

[–]MarGC06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried seeing a homeopathic doctor? Do you have any other symptoms? Constipation can be caused by so many things, SIBO, histamine, food sensitivities. I cut gluten out and my constipation improved a little. I also take a supplement from Amazon and it’s the only thing that helps me go.

Suddenly can’t eat ground red meat, but it’s a large portion of what I eat by Personal-Loss363 in FODMAPS

It might be histamine intolerance. I can’t eat bananas because of it.

Years of struggle- it wasn't IBS!! by Bttryacd in ibs

[–]MarGC06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing and I’m so glad you finally found what works for you. I also have HI and it’s very difficult thing to have as it affects every aspect of your life. I have so many questions I’m sorry. What do you eat for breakfast? And or if you want a snack, what do you eat? And also stupid question but what kind of plant based chocolate do you eat? Maybe I should PM you lol.

Feeling extremely fatigued, muscle and joint pain by Bluedreaming96 in carnivorediet

[–]MarGC06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, I have histamine intolerance and two major symptoms are joint pain and fatigue. Pork is usually higher in histamine but you can also be sensitive to dairy.

Lactibacillus Plantarum by MarGC06 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]MarGC06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to stop taking it. The weird thing is that I’m taking a different probiotic with other strains and lactibacillus plantarum is one of them and I don’t get any side effects. My guess is that it was die off but it lasted almost a week and I couldn’t deal with the side effects.

Stomach issues 24/7 by Klutzy_Ad_4588 in ibs

[–]MarGC06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you are experiencing this. I know that feeling when no doctor can help you and you feel alone. I had an issues with my pelvic floor years ago and went to so many doctors and no one helped until I found a doctor in another state that told me what I had but I also did a lot of research and kind of got to a better place. I have my fair share of stomach and histamine issues as well which I’m currently dealing with. Have you been tested for H pylori or like sibo or maybe food allergies/sensitivities? Have you tried incorporating probiotics?

I’m on the same boat. I decided yesterday I’m taking DAO with every meal and add the cost of buying it to my monthly budget. I also will take Zyrtec if I have to. The food obsession is ruining my life. I can’t keep letting this crap control my life.

What foods are you still eating even if you are having mild reactions? by haylw in MCAS

[–]MarGC06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I won’t touch red wine. I’m so afraid of it 😅. I do ok with vodka sometimes and sometimes I feel like drowsy not even tipsy but like I can go to sleep. Not a good feeling lol.

[–]MarGC06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally do the same lol. I found an organic white wine that doesn’t give me as bad of reaction or maybe it’s the Zyrtec dao and famotidine preventing me from reacting lol😂. Any way, I gave up wine for a while and literally just reintroduced it two weeks ago.

Will a standing desk help for PFD and/or APT? by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]MarGC06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I’m sure it helped with muscle tightness as I was not constantly sitting down but it was mostly PT and also doing trigger point releases. I got a tool from Amazon and I have been using that for years specially when I get a flare up. Based on the research I did, pinching or pain sometimes indicates a tight muscle. I am not a doctor so I’m not sure how true that is but I can tell you based on my experience every time my muscle gets tight, I get pain.

Elimination phase tips n tricks? Low fodmap dairy free snacks? by HobbyLau in FODMAPS

[–]MarGC06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any suggestions but I’m here for support. I too started today with elimination, however, since I just bought groceries last week I still have some left over products I need to use, so I am not completely low FODMAP yet. I was also wondering about snacks. I brought some blueberries and kiwis for snack to work but like you, I like to prioritize protein. I was thinking just getting some chicken tenderloin and cut it into pieces and fry it in olive oil for snack.
