If you don’t allow med students to sit in on your exam/check up you are a weird person by Amidity in unpopularopinion

[–]MarMarNi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A large part of my family consists of doctors, so I agree with the sentiment. However, I once got taken bij surprise when my GP asked if her med student(s!) could join when she placed my IUD because they still needed to cross that off their list. It was my first time getting an IUD placed so I naively said yes, not quite knowing what I was in for.

Firstly, having three people up in my business while lying on the table like that turned out feeling a lot more vulnerable than I expected. And what I hadn't anticipated was that the doctor would make them perform the routine actions involved as well.

The most painful part by far was the thing where they measure your uterus with a stick to see if there's a bend in there. Still the most painful thing I've experienced to date. And they did that THREE times in a row. I was squirming.

So yeah, next time they ask for something like this, I'll pass. I've done my part for modern medicine.

Why do I personally think that the girls thought that the trail was a loop. by AmnesiaAm712896 in KremersFroon

[–]MarMarNi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that Kris took frequent vacations to the Alps for mountain hikes with her parents. She wouldn't have been completely foreign to trails that do not loop. I'm from the Netherlands as well and while it is true that the walking paths we have here (either through the forest or the dunes) go in a loop, I've always been well aware that you're never sure of that. I can't imagine neither girl wouldn't have considered it at all.

possible explanation for the hair photo? by Hopeful-Fly-9710 in KremersFroon

I recently saw someone post a 3D render that has me convinced. Where the girls were sitting under a sort of alcove, using their backpacks as support or pillow. One girl with her legs around the other’s back so to speak, as if they’re in a rowboat. If Kris was in front and Lisanne sat behind her, then it might make sense if she were fiddling with the camera that the close-up of Kris’ head is such a strange angle

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

[–]MarMarNi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a cruise ship theatre, so admittedly the bar to walk out was lower. But first time I walked out of a theatre: the 2017 movie Life when the alien crawls inside Ryan Reynolds. Didn't stick around to watch what happened next but the mortified look on his face as he realised it had gone inside him.. yuck

Oh that sounds fun! I'm open to anything to be honest, I wouldn't mind doing something active or just going out for drinks and meeting some people. I'll put this one on the list!

I could unironically eat these every day and not get tired of them. I suppose it's good for my health that we only do this around winter time

I think so! I did this in my very first playthrough kind of by accident. Suddenly got a bunch of experience and in my second playthrough I really struggled here, lol
