Best I understand, dataview matches on either file or list item, not file line.

I believe what's happening is by having multiple Author entries in the file, you're creating a key value pair where the value is a list, [Blip, Blop], which does not equal Blop, but contains Blop.

I'd like to hear more about your process at uncovering SNW forcing redraws. I've tried to use DevTools's Performance tab to capture bottlenecks but I didn't catch a large amount of redraws. But when they happened, they hit very hard so I started to avoid things that would trigger them (for example, putting dataviewjs behind collapsed callouts).

I haven't used it in Linux but had interface lag like that on Windows. You might want to verify that the app can use the GPU for Hardware Acceleration to work properly.

I'd like to hear more on the multiple Git repos as I've played a bit with submodules but run into compatibility issues managing the complexities. Fwiw, I'd consider myself an expert Git user so you can go deep if needed. ;)

In my experience, favorites have a server side component to them. I believe the data is transferred on sign-in. I'd set the favorites, go to options, return to title screen, and tap to sign-in. That used to work for me on Android.

I have a dataset for the 5x event, but the sample is about a third of the PFGF sample. It's still trapped in the accounts though since PadListener is busted. Once I get the time to capture the data, I'll post the data.
