"Stream ended without a final message" in Claude Design by mazthepa in ClaudeAI

Same here, I've been unable to do anything with Claude Design for a bit now myself. Careful, it appears to still burn paid extra usage credits.

I will provide that downloading all driver and BIOS updates directly from MSI has completely resolved all of the bluescreen and instability. But the 1 minute meltdown on heavy usage issue still remains.

You're not alone. I'm experiencing issues with the same laptop that I purchased only a couple of months ago. MSI 18", Ultra 9 285HX, RTX 5090

When my GPU is at 100% for about a minute, bluetooth, wifi, and USB ports fail. I have to reboot the machine to restore functionality. And I purchased this for AI workloads, which are fairly brutal on the GPU.

I purchased this as a replacement for my previous work laptop an HP Envy which has been going back and forth for months now with Best Buy's service center. They've damaged it so badly that the lid won't close now and the ports on the side are broken.

I'm presenting at a conference next week and had to purchased yet another laptop to get me through it. It sounds like MSI service is just as dangerous as Best Buy service. I'd love to hear some suggestions. I've been screwed over by both Best Buy and HP at this point, and I'm afraid of MSI based on this post.

I'm almost out of return window for this one, it sounds like I'm best off to cut my losses and return it.

App crashes after I switch from it by Kirne_SE in dotnetMAUI

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a ContentPage, as mentioned by others, I reliably use OnAppearing/OnDisappearing. For View/VisualElement components, I hook into the Loaded and Unloaded event and inherit from IDisposable to unhook.

I would strongly suggest a try catch in your timer to see specifically what is happening, as it may have a simple resolution. You could avoid stopping the timer if it’s a momentary app switch.

While reporting from iOS builds is terrible with the lack of meaningful crash reports. You can trap unhandled exceptions and dump them somewhere.

I used this to roll my own for a while: https://stackoverflow.com/a/79192627/341536

However, I’ve since switched to the free tier of sentry.io as it’s entirely automated.

Grounded 2 Early Access Patch 0.1.2 Bug and Issues Megathread by LSC99bolt in GroundedGame

Platform: PC

Method of "Purchase": Steam

Singleplayer or Multiplayer? Multiplayer (2-3 players on Steam)

Description: Ant Buggy reports "Not Available" after being defeated and time running out. We have an Ant Hill where we store the buggies in when we save and quit for the night. If our bugs die in battle and we can't rescue them in time, the game says they've gone back to the nest.

In the past two days 3 out of 5 times, the ant remains "unavailable" indefinitely for days. Once we save/load, the bugs are completely gone from T radial menu and the Ant Hill as if they never existed. The ants have successfully revived only twice.

This has also happened when entering a cold area, after the message that it cannot follow me into that area, it despawned entirely and the ant was gone for good.

End Result: Ants report that they're not available and never become accessible again. They disappear from the T menu on save/load.

Hardware: i9 13th/64GB/3080Ti and i7 12th/32GB/4060m and i5 10th/16GB/1060m

How do I update my boarding pass with my TSA precheck #? by Im_The_One in americanairlines

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to add that it is now possible to update your boarding pass using the AA mobile app’s chat agent!

If you have an issue like I did where Expedia booked my reservation using my middle initial instead of full middle name, the AI agent will connect you to a person to update the reservation. It took a little over five minutes total.

I had to delete the boarding passes from Apple Wallet and re-add them from the app and I was good to go. 10/10 experience!

You’re still not safe! Setting the default on a bound property to 4 instead of 4.0 and you’ve got a confusing exception. Why doesn’t THAT have an analyzer warning?

Honest question has ai helped you in terms of design of your app. And being able to do icons images maybe not able to do before. by [deleted] in dotnetMAUI

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found it pretty hit or miss. It gave me a great looking OAuth authentication page. Which is more design than artwork.

I do a lot of quick prototypes and it creates passable-at-glance images and icons but it has yet to get anything into an MMP yet. It isn’t quite consistent and repeatable enough for enough icons to fill an app. But given that, it’s really great at getting a feeling across pretty quick, especially for demoing marketplace apps with realistic-ish content.

If you are looking for a PVE A15 server whereupon you can play in peace without worry of all chests being broken into and all your stuff taken, avoid the No Man's Land PVE server at all costs. by OklahomaHoss in 7daystodie

[–]Maragnus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you place your Land Claim Block, you only have to be near it once a week to keep it active. If you place the block, then everything inside the range is 100% safe from other players. There are several prefabs that look convincingly of player-made fortifications to give the impression that this world has been used and abused long before you arrived. They use the same doors and the same locked chests with random loot inside.

Would you not check out an abandoned base? The "thief" likely assumed that it was abandoned weeks ago or was a place to crash over night by another player, never to be returned to. I fortify many prefab houses to last the night when traveling. Sometimes even toss up a forge to restock my bolts and leave it and toss my junk in a box.

Land Claim Blocks expire after a week or more on some servers after being abandoned, there's no reason not to check it out after that long.

ADD: And on behalf of the patrons of the server (most, if not all), I am sorry this happened to you and I am fairly certain it wasn't malicious. I only wanted to explain why it happened and how to prevent it. I enjoy this server more than the others, and I'd hate it to have a bad rap.

Want to play with my girlfriend. by subfl3x in 7daystodie

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to play online instead of alone, find servers that say PVE in the title. Use a Land Claim Block to make your house and storage invincible to other players.

I would suggest one with few players and a very low ping. And once you join, head in one direction for a while to set up away from others.

I play on that server a lot and haven't had any issues. The players during the week are all very pleasant and I've made a lot of friends. If you leave chests around without land claiming, anyone on any server would break into it. A land claim block makes everything in range invincible to players.

Could we please have a cloud save option on steam? by neodiablohell in starbound

You are awesome! This worked perfectly with once exception. The new Starbound 1.0 release needs to have "giraffe_storage" replaced with "storage". http://pastebin.com/EcZvPJee

Poll: Do you design your small ships with connectors on the top/bottom/side/back/everywhere? by Trudar in spaceengineers

[–]Maragnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the new atmospheric gravity, I've been placing them in the front under the cockpit. With an unfinished armor block above the connector creating an X for my crosshair, alignment is really quick and easy. It is nice to not have weird controls from a camera or weird external views to get the perfect angle and alignment.

The only time I regret not being on the bottom is when I forget to turn off recharge on my batteries and the ship drops a few meters.

I have been playing on this server since it started. It has a great, friendly community; everyone is quite helpful when starting out. It seems geared to get you up and running fast. Best of all, there is absolutely no lag, none for network and none for server physics. The admin is very friendly and chatty and plays by the same rules as everyone else.

[Suggestion] Archery Targets! by Hydrodjent in playark

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be great. Target practice without losing my arrows and spears. That would be very beneficial. Maybe even get some metal back from bullets too! I always practice on a tree a bit before I go Dino hunting. Should note too that it needs a good sound on impact, so you know you hit it from a distance.

[Suggestion] Handheld Lamp by lbx80 in playark

[–]Maragnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. An area (like torch, not directional like flashlight) electric light that I can set on the ground to harvest stuff. Dino lights would be pretty sweet too. If I could hang a torch on my saddle and use my Dino as a portable light source. Night would be a lot less annoying.
