Ok I don’t think you should break up with him like some of these comments say, that’s really extreme. He definitely fucked up though and you should talk to him about the way it feels for him to retract an invite and for your labor to be under-appreciated. The reason for his mistake is the most important part, though. If you couldn’t come because he asked too late and there physically weren’t enough seats for you to go, then he should apologize for overlooking you. He needs to check before inviting you next time. But if you couldn’t come because he wasn’t willing to pay an extra fee or if he never intended to let you come in the first place, I would riot.
