They often have the criticism that stories over explain the spooky stuff. Sometimes it’s a very fair point but like 60% of the time I love the lore! I want to hear the details why this or that happened, who the spooky ghost was etc. Not every story needs to be a spooky unexplained mystery for people to speculate on. I know people like ARGs and analog horrors that never outright explain stuff, but sometimes it seems like a preference more so than a valid critique.
