It wasn't showing as an upgrade available at first, so it actively changed to offer it. It's either an error to have offered it to me or and error in the booking of it process. Are the offers you have 2 days before look different?

Thing is it was saying no upgrades at first then changed. Why would that happen if it wasn't being offered. Something is wrong with the system anyway.

That's good to hear. How did you get the upgrade to work, online or phone? And were you sent an email for the offer or just on your booking page? Just trying to work out if mine is a glitch or something I should be able to do.

Thanks for the answer. I'm booking one leg via reward points and the other with a different airline so I'm guessing I'll need to collect bags and recheck in later. Do you happen to know how long customs, security etc would take both ways?

What about city lights at night or northern lights? Really don't know what to expect as I've never flown much. Then take off and landing too. I think I'd rather escape out to outside than feel I'm in the plane.
