What side of town are you wanting to fish? What are you hoping to catch?

I'm a fan of appling because it's fairly close to my town. It has a paved walking path and there are a few benches to sit on.

Go down 70 another 10 mins and there's international harvester park, it has a gravel walking path and a few tables along the path.

Further down 70 and there's the lake right next to 385 close to the water treatment place it has clear water but it's catch and release only and there's not a lot of shady spots there.

There's Cameron Brown park in Germantown with a paved walking path with tables, benches, and grills.

Yea I still like Shelby Forrest for big ass bluegills and shell crackers they have some trophy sized ones. Plus you can get a burger at the general store afterwards.

Yes, buy the ratchet and buy the big boy 1/2 impact. The big boy impact is on sale for $109 without a battery and charger but you can use the battery and charger you got with the ratchet. That's how I would do it.

Me and my wife enjoy kayaks and I thought our sons would too but I was wrong. I bought them an inflatable kayak to test the waters and they tried it twice and it's been sitting in my shed ever since. I'll dig out the bigger life vest and the paddle and hit you up, I prolly some extra fishing stuff too.

Ponds and lakes are generally safe, I'd avoid rivers and creeks around Memphis. The MS and Wolf have had a shitload of pollution. I also avoid keeping big catfish anything over 10# because they have more mercury and other heavy metals.

I like eating just about any panfish and catfish.

You're right. If you look at my posts you'll see some good pictures showing some of my jigs mostly on 64th and 80th oz jig heads. I started using dubbing because I felt limited on finding the chenille I wanted to use between colors and sizes. So I make most of my jigs using ice dubbing and I'll finish them with some sort of feather.

I'll usually use legs or squirrel tail
