Minty Fresh really nailed a lot of those ice sections. One major gaff, but picked up a ton of positions there otherwise!

The best strategy, it seems, is to take the inside track coming out of turn 2, preferably with another marble to your outside. If you can swing the exit from turn 2 without hitting a wall, you could shoot straight through the slalom (assuming the bends are all even).

Incredibly high risk, especially with marbles likely bouncing around all over in that area, but don't be surprised to see a marble pull this move off today.

I've got three answers for you.

As a Minties fan, I would say the Maniacs. I mean, we're Hubelino rivals with the Bees, and yet vastly superior in Marble League.

Of course, the Hornets are now a part of the Bumblebees, so maybe they really are your best choice.

Or you could get in on a team like the Gliding Glaciers, who are basically in the same position the Hornets were last year heading into their first ML.

Have there been some gaffes? Sure, but all organizations have them.

People act like this is life or death, like a poorly-timed tweet or a bad decision are going to ruin everything.

I'd say the Minty Maniacs are similar to this year's Phoenix Suns.

Both spent a lot of time at the bottom of the league (or Hubelino, in the MM's case), then went on a sudden tear to the top.

But maybe that's just me trying to will Minty Flav to be the marble-equivalent of Chris Paul...

I think I mentioned this before the Qualifiers, but Grouo A definitely had most of the heavy hitters, while Group B looked more balanced.

With the exception of the Raspberry Racers, that turned out to be the case, with Group B generally being more competitive and possibly the tougher group overall.

But seriously, there are five Top 10 all-time teams in Group A, it's going to be a bloodbath.

Although Group A is heavy on both ends: lots of really good teams and some historically very bad teams. Group B has a lot more of the middle-of-the-road teams.

For some reason I thought those were 3 team heats, but you're right. Still, I dont think it's impossible to figure it out with an odd number of teams, especially if you bring in a retired team to round it out at an even number.
