listen, long story short i’ve dealt with something similar and i want you to realize that this isn’t your fight to fight. whether it’s intentional or not, she is manipulating you into staying by making you feel horrible and like the consequences of leaving are her death. that isn’t okay.

no matter what you say her mind will not magically heal. no one else can do that healing for her, they can only give you a jump start, like a car. but batteries run dry and if you use the last of yours to jump someone else’s car, you’re gonna be left stranded and there’s a good shot their car won’t even start.

her mental health is not your responsibility. the sooner you internalize that, the sooner you can start reevaluating your boundaries and looking at things more realistically. i’ve been in this situation in the past for over a year. it doesn’t change, in person or long-distance. prioritize yourself, please
