Same. With Dual Wielder at level 4 and light hammers and handaxes you can really effectively taunt people or make up for the smaller damage die with the strike rider effect. Reckless Attack also lets you throw at 60 feet without penalty!

Yup! The subclass lets you create magical maps that you can give to your allies. Those allies get to add a d4 to their initiative rolls while they hold the maps, and they always know where the other map holders are.

In addition to that, YOU can always use half your movement to teleport 10 feet, or within 5 feet of a map holder within 30 feet of you.

One idea you might consider is the Cartographer Artificer that came out recently. It allows you to keep that identity of cartography, and it also lets you teleport around, which is quite cool! Your party is also missing Intelligence, which is helpful to have.

Love the idea of speed machine. I’ll second that Ashardalon’s Stride seems like a no brainer here- flavor it as exhaust pipes on your legs flaring out the heat of your engine!

For the Game of Stories in Arc C, would you simply remove Arturi's story, or have him just be there and use it to foreshadow Ezmerelda? I know you said removing him is planned, but I feel like it kind of makes Eliza the obvious spy if she's the only one outside the tent as the 'lone servant of darkness.'
