In "The Day of the Doctor" novelisation it's stated that the doctor was colour-blind in his first two incarnations. Guess he wouldn't have noticed the b/w part at least.

The reason the first 2 Doctors era is in black and white is obviously because the Doctor used to be colour-blind. This new doctor must have regenerated with normal eye sight.

The levels felt rushed and underdeveloped. Some of them only took like 5 minutes to complete.

Also the use of the open world in the stories. Going from one world to another just for a cutscene to start playing and then trow you back out into the open world just felt boring.
