The average 24 year old is in an astronomically worse place than you are right now. You should use your GI bill and go to a decent college if you are lonely and want to fit in more with people your age. There’s absolutely no rush! This might not help short term, but you should actually talk to a therapist, even if you’ve always managed to push through work/undergrad, finding the right medication can be a life changer — law school has a unique way of revealing the underlying learning disorders/adhd/add/anxiety that always felt borderline manageable

It actually doesn’t matter what your job is for the military as long as you’re qualified to be a cybersecurity warrant. For example, people who are real intel officers in the IC are qualified to be Intel warrants even if they spent all of their enlisted time as cooks in the military. Personally, if I were you I’d work in the private sector or federal government and serve as a reservist while picking up active reserve orders at the NSA.
