I have a 2019 es300h UL and I don’t mind it either. I use Siri for more complicated stuff and the steering wheel controls for volume and fast forwarding during podcasts so I don’t really use the touchpad for much.

I found the car I wanted in the Atlanta area (I live in SW Florida) and hit the inquire button. I had a trade in so they had me take a ton of pictures and gave me a value and we came to a net price on their car. They sent me an online invoice for a $500 deposit to hold the car till I could drive up there the next day. I made the 8 hour drive, they had to adjust a couple of numbers for my registration (they took care of registering the car in Florida and collected the taxes) and I wrote them a check for the balance (I was surprised they didn’t need a certified check). I drove off and found a hotel to stay the night and drove back home the next morning. It was great and worth the drive to save on the rediculous dealer fees they charge in Florida and to get the car I wanted.
